Mumbai The Bureau of Narcotics Control (NCB) on Wednesday said it has summoned Bollywood actresses Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor and Rakul Preet Singh for questioning over the drug probe into Sushant’s case. “Deepika, Sara, Shraddha, Rakul have been summoned for questioning. Apart from Bollywood actors, NCB has also summoned fashion designer Simon Khambata,” an NCB official involved in the investigation told IANS.
The drug agency has summoned Deepika’s manager Karisma Prakash and Sushant’s former manager Shruti Modi for questioning.
Another NCB official said the agency had summoned Khambata, Rakul, Sushant’s former manager Shruti Modi on September 24, Deepika and Karisma on September 25 and Sara and Shraddha on September 26 for questioning.
According to media reports, Deepika Indino is shooting a photo in Gopa.
The agency has issued the notice to the actresses in connection with the investigation into Sushant Singh Rajput’s death.
Sushant was found dead in his flat in Bandra on June 14.
The official said that during the investigation, the accused was talking about their drugs, with which a summons was issued.
The NCB also arrested Sushant’s girlfriend Riya Chakraborty, her brother Shovik, Miranda, Sushant’s personal worker Deepesh Sawant and one other person in the case.
The official, however, denied that the agency had sent a summons to Dia Mirza. The day before, the NCB continued to question Sushant’s talent manager Jaya Saha for the third day in a row.
Apart from Saha, NDC is also questioning Udhu Punjab, Madhu Mantena Verma, who has given blockbuster movies like Ghajini.
