It is shown in the video that after stripping the victim, four to five men attacked her with cane sticks. The miscreants beat him badly in the dark. She kept on screaming. The miscreants told the victim that no matter how much she shouts, no one will come to her rescue. Also told about his loss of Rs 14,000. The miscreants used mobile flashlight and vehicle headlight to shoot the video.

Yadgir district superintendent of police Vedamurthy said, a complaint has been registered on the statement of the victim and chargesheet will be presented in the court within 20 days. The accused were taken to the spot and questioned about the incident. Karnataka Home Minister Araga Gyanendra said that the government is very serious about the matter. The guilty will be punished at all costs.
