Rajasthan News: An Eco van coming at a high speed in Jaipur uncontrollably rammed into the trailer, due to which 6 people in the van got trapped in it and tragically died.
Rajasthan News: 6 people died and five were injured in a horrific accident that took place on NH-12 Nimodia turn in Chaksu, Jaipur on Saturday morning. The speeding Echo van went out of control and rammed into the trailer, killing 6 of the 11 people in the van and seriously injuring 5 people. The bodies of the dead have been sent for post-mortem, while the injured have been admitted to Satellite Hospital in Chaksu, where they are undergoing treatment. The accident took place near Nimodia Cut in Chaksu of Jaipur district, where an eco van rammed into the trailer uncontrollably and in this incident 5 people were injured, they are being treated at Mahatma Gandhi Hospital. The condition of one examinee remains critical, who has been referred to Jaipur. The remaining two injured are being treated at Chaksu Hospital and two at Mahatma Gandhi Hospital. Expressing condolences over the accident, the CM has said that from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund, a compensation of Rs 2 lakh will be given to the kin of the dead and Rs 50,000 to the injured. CM Ashok Gehlot has appealed that all the candidates should be careful while traveling. Do not drive at high speed and recklessly, use public transport as much as possible. No exam can be bigger than your life.
The people present at the spot said that the van coming at high speed with a loud bang rammed into the truck. The van was stuck in the truck while moving for about 2 kilometers. People on the road told the truck driver about the accident. The truck was also at such a speed that the driver did not even know about the accident. Chaksu police reached on the information of the accident. The stranded van was separated from the trailer and the injured were pulled out.
The van got stuck in an iron pipe installed at the rear of the truck, due to which four people sitting in front of the van died on the spot. The police, who reached the spot, pulled out the van with the help of a crane and the injured were first sent to the satellite hospital in Chaksu.
