Rajasthan REET Exam 2021 News Updates: Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test (REET Exam) for teachers in Rajasthan was conducted in two shifts on Sunday amid tight security arrangements. Let us tell you that for the examination conducted by the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education, a total of 3,993 examination centers were set up in all the 33 districts of the state. The exam was conducted in two shifts. 16.51 lakh candidates had registered for this exam. Mobile internet services were suspended in many districts of the state including Jaipur on Sunday as a precautionary measure to prevent cheating in the examination.
Let us tell you that five people were arrested with slippers equipped with Bluetooth equipment for allegedly trying to copy in the examination held for the selection of teachers in Bikaner yesterday. Several other dummy candidates were arrested from different districts of the state. Along with this, two head constables and a constable of the police were suspended for their alleged involvement in the fraud.
In the case of cheating and cheating in the examination, the police arrested four people in Dausa and Jaipur Rural, while in Bikaner, Ajmer, Pratapgarh, Sikar, Bharatpur, and Jodhpur, eight people were arrested by busting the gang involved in fraud cases. Cases of fraud were also reported in Sawai Madhopur, where the involvement of two police personnel came to the fore.
Bikaner Superintendent of Police Preeti Chandra said that five people involved in trying to cheat in the examination were arrested in Gangshahr police station area. He said that among the arrested accused were three Reet exam candidates who were found wearing slippers fitted with a small calling device attached to a SIM card. He told that such a small Bluetooth device was installed in the ear of the candidates which was not visible. The two arrested accused among the gang members are those who provided slippers to the candidates for Rs.6 lakh each. Both the accused were caught from the bus stand before the examination. Chandra said that after the arrest, the police of other districts were alerted. Another person was apprehended from the Jainarayan Vyas Colony police station area of Bikaner. On the information of Bikaner police, two candidates were arrested from Pratapgarh and one candidate each from Sikar and Ajmer.
At the same time, the candidates objected to the delay in the first shift examination at an examination center in Alwar district. Bhiwadi Superintendent of Police Ram Murti Joshi said that the examination started late as question papers were not provided at the center on time. He told that the first shift examination will be re-conducted by the Board of Secondary Education at one center. Sirohi Superintendent of Police Dharmendra said that the constable Shaitan Ram posted in Sirohi’s Kalandari police station has been suspended for his involvement in cheating in the REET exam.
