A statement from the Prime Minister’s Office said that special campaigns for the treatment of the Kovid-1p epidemic would be carried out between April and April 14, with emphasis on 100 per cent use of masks, personal hygiene and Kovid rescue precautions. .

A detailed presentation was also made during the meeting stating that only ten states accounted for 91 per cent of the total cases of Kovid-99 and the resulting deaths, while Maharashtra, Punjab and the state of Chhattisgarh were concerned.

Maharashtra alone accounted for 57 per cent of the total cases of Kovid-19 in the country and the number of new cases in the state reached 47,913 per day. This number has more than doubled in Maharashtra when the previous corona virus epidemic was at its peak. The meeting was attended by the Cabinet Secretary, Chief Secretary to the Prime Minister, Union Health Secretary and other senior officials.

Last month, the Prime Minister digitally contacted the chief ministers of various states in the wake of the growing case of COBID-19 and said that if the growing epidemic was not stopped here, a nationwide infection could ensue.
