A health department official said that 695 new cases of corona virus were reported in the state on Saturday, taking the total number of infection cases to 10,19,621. The death toll rose to 8,128 due to the death of six infected. At present 5,876 patients are under treatment in the state while 10,05,564 people have recovered from the infection so far. The infection rate in the state is 5.13 percent. So far, more than 1.91 crore samples have been tested for Kovid-19 in the state.
