Naxalites upset by police action, called bandh in these states including UP-Bihar, what will be the effect?

Ranchi: Naxalite organization CPI-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) has called a bandh in four states of Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Chhattisgarh from 23 to 25 November. The bandh has been called for the second time by the Naxalites in a span of four days. Earlier, during the bandh called on November 20, Maoists had blown up railway tracks in Latehar and Chakradharpur in Jharkhand. Due to the vigilance and vigilance of the security forces, law and order was generally maintained during this bandh of the Naxalites. It is reported that intelligence agencies have given different reports to the Jharkhand-Bihar police on the possibility of conspiracy by the Naxalites for some major incident. After the arrest of top CPI-Maoist leader Prashant Bose and his wife Sheela Marandi and the massive crackdown on Naxalites in Gadchiroli last day, there is a lot of panic in the Naxalite organization. On Sunday, a squad of Naxalites tried to attack the Kochang police picket in Arki block, about 50 km from Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand. He fired several rounds targeting the picket, to which the police also responded strongly. About 100 rounds were fired from both the sides. As soon as the information was received, additional police force was sent to the spot. Seeing the police being overwhelmed, the Naxalites ran away. Jharkhand-Bihar Police has started long range patrolling on all highways regarding the bandh called by Naxalites from 23 to 25 November. Additional forces have also been deployed in sensitive areas. Police of Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal have also been alerted. On the one hand, the police and paramilitary forces are continuously campaigning against the Naxalites, while on the other hand the Naxalites are engaged in a strategy to make them feel the strong presence of their organization. In a release issued by CPI-Maoist spokesperson Sanket, protest has been expressed on the action of police-administration agencies. The release of the Naxalites also condemned the death of more than 600 people during the farmers’ agitation.
