Narendra Modi has confused the country on China issue: Rahul Gandhi
New Delhi. Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi has said that Defense Minister Rajnath Singh’s remarks in China on Tuesday made it clear that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had misled the country on the issue of infiltration of Chinese troops.
Rahul Gandhi tweeted that it was clear from Defense Minister Rajnath Singh’s statement that Narendra Modi had misled the country about the Chinese unconscious. The whole country has always stood and will stand with the Indian Army, but when will the Modi AAP stand against China. When will we get our country’s land back from China? Don’t be afraid to name China.
Later in the Lok Sabha, Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury Chowdhury questioned that when Rajnath Singh would make a statement in Parliament on the China issue, Prime Minister Narendra Modi would have to be in Parliament at this crucial time, but he did not attend the meeting. He said that Narendra Modi had confused the country on this issue and said that we had no place to enter the Indian border or the Chinese army had not occupied our land. It later became clear that Chinese troops had entered the Indian border and the government had to clarify Narendra Modi’s statement.
He said similarly, 20 brave soldiers of the country had been martyred in the Galvan Valley, but the government had no answer, so he was afraid to discuss the matter in parliament. Gaurav Gogoi, an MP from the party, said the Congress wanted to send a message of unity in the country and rejected misleading statements, which is why the party walked out during the defense minister’s speech in the Lok Sabha.
