According to ophthalmologists, homes work a few hours on mobile-computer screens while sitting at home during the coronary period. It can lead to myopia, where distant issues appear unclear. According to Dr Rahul Sharma, an ophthalmologist at Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital in Delhi, at the moment, research is being done from home. The small carelessness taken during online classes that lasts for several hours increases eye itching, redness, blemishes and headaches. If this condition persists for a long time, it leads to myopia. The disease is spreading rapidly among children due to the increasing use of mobiles and TVs, distance from outdoor sports and endless reading. Do not allow children to use mobile or TV for more than an hour.
Problems with blurring and roughness
The eyelids of the screen do not glow. Due to which children have problems with prickling, pain, burning and drying of the eyes. Even after removing the eyes from the screen after a long time, the eyes become tense and tired and the distant objects become blurred. Headaches, excessive blinking of the eyelids, rubbing of the eyes and fatigue in children can be symptoms of vision loss. If left untreated, myopia can lead to myopic macular degeneration, retinal detachment, cataracts, and glaucoma in the future. Rest should be taken at one hour intervals between eye studies. Show things from the window every day.

According to a survey conducted by AIIMS a few years ago, about 13.1 percent of children in Delhi and surrounding cities suffer from myopia. In such cases, doctors say that during the corona period, parents need to pay special attention to their children.

Follow the 20/20/20 rule
Grover, an ophthalmologist at Gangaram Hospital, advises parents to follow the 20/20/20 rules. Under this, kids have to watch something for 20 seconds at a distance of 20 feet every 20 minutes. It gives your eyes a rest and they come to their normal posture.
Use computer or laptop instead of mobile. Use antiglare goggles that protect against strong screen light. Make yoga a part of your life. Children should sit in an open room or in natural light while studying online. Because the screen light of mobile or laptop falls on the eyes which is harmful.
Do this exercise too
Rub until both your hands are warm. Now put your hand over your eyes. This will relax the nerves around the eyes and increase blood circulation.
Rotate eye pupils clockwise and anti-clockwise. Do it with your eyes closed. Do it twice a day. But you can do it more than twice a day.
What is myopia or myopia?
In myopia or myopia, the reflection is increased slightly more than the top of the retina by increasing the size of the pupil (eyeball). Objects far away from it appear blurred and obscure, but there is no problem seeing nearby objects.
