Mumbai News: An elderly woman was attacked by a leopard when she came out of her house for a walk in Goregaon, Mumbai. CCTV footage of the incident has also surfaced. It can be seen that the woman came out of the house late in the evening and sat down for a while. Then the leopard sitting in the ambush attacked and the woman fell backwards. It can be seen in the video that the leopard is continuously attacking but the woman also did not lose courage and finally forced the leopard to run away. After hearing the voice of the woman for some time, the people around also reached to help her. The victim woman has been identified as 55-year-old Nirmala Rambadan Singh. The incident is on Wednesday 29 September and the woman has been admitted to the hospital for treatment. Gajanan, in-charge of Thane Forest Division, which looks after the colony, said that the claw marks on the woman’s body suggest that the attack was carried out by a sub-adult leopard.
