Further evidence is gathered on the basis of that. He said that two people are being questioned. He has confirmed the role of three others. These people are giving a lot of information. It is known that this action from the police side has come to the fore after the strictness of the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court had taken suo motu cognizance of the matter and today itself was heard in the Chief Justice’s Bench. The top court had asked the UP government in the court that how many people have been arrested in the case so far. The Supreme Court has sought a status report from the government in this matter on Friday. Along with this, the Supreme Court has also asked the UP government that how many FIRs have been registered in this case so far? How many people are accused, tell them all.

Let us tell you that on October 3, during the demonstration of farmers in Lakhimpur, there was a ruckus. It is alleged that the son of Union Minister Ajay Mishra crushed the protesting farmers with his Thar jeep. Four farmers were killed in this, while four more people died in the uproar after the incident. BJP workers are also included in this. The Yogi government has given a compensation of Rs 45 lakh to the families of the deceased farmers, while Rs 10 lakh to the injured. The Union Minister’s son has also been prosecuted, but no arrest has been made yet.

After the incident, there was a tremendous political uproar and the opposition parties strongly attacked the government. Section 144 was imposed by shutting down the internet in Lakhimpur Kheri and surrounding districts. On Wednesday evening, Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi were allowed by the government to visit Lakhimpur Kheri. Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi had met the families of the deceased farmers.
