Lakhimpur Kheri Violence Update: In the Lakhimpur Kheri case, the Supreme Court has made a strong remark, after which, today the appearance of Minister Ajay Mishra’s son Ashish Mishra, will be questioned by the UP Police.

Lakhimpur Kheri Violence Update: In the Lakhimpur Kheri violence case, Ashish Mishra, son of Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Kumar Mishra ‘Teni’, has been summoned by the Crime Branch of UP Police for questioning by sending a notice again, for which he has reached the Crime Branch office. Minister Ajay Mishra’s son Ashish Mishra was to appear before the police by 11 am today. In this case, UP Police had sent notice for the second time yesterday i.e. on Friday and given time to appear before 11 am today for questioning in the case. In the Lakhimpur violence case, the UP Police has summoned Ashish Mishra at 11 o’clock today. Awadhesh Kumar, legal advisor to Ashish Mishra said that we will honor the notice and cooperate in the investigation. Ashish Mishra will appear before the police today.

The minister told his son innocent, said – he is unwell

Meanwhile, in Lucknow on Friday, Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra once again termed his son as ‘innocent’ and said that his son is ‘unwell’, due to which he could not appear before the police on Thursday and he could not appear before the police on Saturday. That is, today he will appear before the police.

Minister Ajay Mishra said in a conversation with the media at Lucknow airport on Friday, “We have faith in the law. My son got the notice on Thursday but he said that he is not feeling well. He will appear before the police on Saturday and will give a statement and evidence about his innocence. When asked whether the opposition was demanding his resignation, he said, “The opposition keeps saying whatever, keeps asking for resignation”.

Supreme Court has made strict remarks

Let us inform that the Supreme Court on Friday took a dig at the UP government for not arresting Ashish Mishra and the court asked that if the accused was a common person, would the police have the same attitude towards him? While directing the police to take strict action in this matter, the bench headed by the Chief Justice also indicated that if possible, its investigation can be handed over to some other institution.

Yogi Adityanath said in a TV channel program in Gorakhpur on Friday, “The Lakhimpur Kheri incident is sad and unfortunate, the government is going to the bottom of it. Violence has no place in a democracy, when the law guarantees protection to all, no one has the right to take the law into their own hands, whoever it is.
