The Indian Farmers Fertilizer Cooperative Limited (IFFCO) in collaboration with the Agricultural Research Council of India on Thursday distributed one lakh packets of vegetable seeds among farmers under the Nutrition Campaign 2020 on the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 30th birth anniversary.
Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh inaugurated the Tomar Nutrition Campaign 2020 and Women Farmer Training Campaign. The campaign has been launched with the help of Indian Agricultural Research Council and Agricultural Science Centers. You addressed 1414 Agricultural Science Centers through video conferencing. IFFCO Managing Director US State and Marketing Director Jogendra Kumar were present on the occasion.
On this occasion, you appreciated the efforts of IFFC and said that the cooperative sector has always come forward in the development of agriculture. IFFCO state offices also actively participated in the event and distributed seed packets. This packet contains seasonal vegetables as well as carrot, radish, spinach, fenugreek seeds.
Dr. Avsti said that IFFCO has always come forward and played its role in increasing agricultural production and making it profitable. He said that he was committed to creating self-reliant agriculture to realize the Prime Minister’s dream of doubling the income of farmers by 2022.
