According to the order of the government, schools will be opened in Delhi in a phase-wise manner from September 1. In the first phase, classes from class 9th to 12th will start from September 1. Then the classes of 6th to 8th class will be started from 8th September. Let us inform that earlier the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) had submitted its suggestions to the Delhi Government regarding the opening of the schools of the capital on Wednesday, 25 August 2021 and in the suggestions it was recommended to open the schools. According to the update of news agency PTI, the expert committee had recommended the opening of schools in Delhi in a phased manner, which has been accepted by the government and ordered the schools to be opened sequentially. The panel of the committee formed to open schools had suggested that schools can be reopened for all classes but in the first phase, students of senior classes (eg – from 9th to 12th) should be called, followed by 6th Students should be called from class 8th and then to primary classes.
Talking to reporters on Thursday, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that the suggestions of the expert committee will be considered but the safety of the students will be our top priority. Along with opening the schools, orders have been given to strictly follow the Corona guidelines, which all schools will have to implement.
