In the meeting of the Delhi Disaster Management Authority on Wednesday, it has been decided that in view of the possible third wave of corona virus infection and the danger-effect of the virus, schools for young children, from classes VI to VIII, will not be opened in Delhi at present. In the meeting of DDMA held on Wednesday, there was a discussion about the opening of schools, after which it has been decided that schools up to 8th standard in Delhi will be opened only after the festive season. In the meeting of DDMA, the ruling Aam Aadmi Party government in Delhi agreed to open the school, but some officials have not agreed to open the schools up to class VIII. On the other hand, the pre-board examinations of students studying in 10th and 12th in government schools will start from October 21 and in this regard, the Directorate of Education has informed the principals of government, aided, NDMC, Delhi Cantonment Board schools regarding the pre-board examination. Necessary guidelines have been issued.
Exams will be held in two shifts
While issuing a circular related to the examination, the directorate said that these examinations will run till November 1. The examination of morning shift students will start at 11 am and will continue till 12.30 pm. At the same time, the examination of the students of evening shift will run from 4 pm to 5.30 pm.
Result of CBSE compartment examinations will be released on 30 September
The result of 10th and 12th compartment examinations conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will be released on 30 September. According to a senior CBSE official, students will be able to see the exam results on the official website of CBSE. The board may upload the result late on 30th September.
Students will have to enter school ID, roll number and date of birth while viewing the result. He said that after this the dates for the first term examinations to be held in November-December of class 10th and 12th would be announced. This year more than one lakh students appeared for compartment and improvement exams.
