Coronavirus: More than 75% of corona cases reported in Delhi in June only

Nearly 50 thousand patients of Corona recovered in June

Currently 26 thousand 270 patients are being treated here, while 2742 people have lost their lives due to this infection. In the last two weeks, more than 40 thousand patients have been cured in Delhi. The rate of recovery of patients in Delhi is 66 percent, which is better than the rate of 60 percent in the country.

2,199 new cases reported in last 24 hours

Earlier last month, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia had said that the figures of Koreana virus infection in Delhi could touch one lakh by June 30 and by July 31, the cases would reach five and a half lakh. According to the bulletin issued today by the Health Department, with 2,199 new cases of infection reported here in the last 24 hours, the total number of infected people increased to 87 thousand 360 while the death toll rose to 2,742 with 62 more deaths.

Addressing the nation on Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on the condition of corona virus, “India is in a stable position compared to many countries of the world. Timely lockdown and other decisions have saved the lives of millions of people in India. But we are also seeing that since unlock-1 has happened in the country, negligence in personal and social behavior has also increased. ”

On the other hand, officials said that the Delhi government will follow the guidelines of the Center of ‘Unlock-2’. Schools in Delhi have already been announced to be closed by 31 July. He said that metro services in the national capital will remain closed for passengers till further notice in view of the ‘Unlock-2’ guidelines issued by the government.

Corona’s first case was found in Delhi on March 1

On June 19, the recovery rate of patients in Delhi was 44.37 percent, which increased to 55.14 percent the next day.

Delhi government begins the process of setting up a plasma bank

The Delhi government has started the process of setting up the first plasma bank in the country for the treatment of Kovid-19 patients and methods are being prepared. The bank is being set up at the Delhi Government-run Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (IABS), doctors and hospitals will have to contact here for plasma considering the need of the patient.

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said in an online press conference on Monday that this bank will start functioning in the next two days and this step has been taken because this plasma therapy has shown encouraging results in the hospitals here.
