Center gave instructions to the states, ‘Strictly follow the corona rules, relax wisely’

Coronavirus in India The Central Government has informed the Delhi High Court that it has asked all the States and Union Territories to ensure strict compliance of national guidelines relating to COVID-19 management and take necessary steps under the Disaster Management Act. It also mentioned that it was necessary to start activities after the reduction in the cases of COVID-19 and that the states and union territories should ensure that “the entire process is done with caution”. The Center has said that the national guidelines related to COVID-19 management include covering the mouth, maintaining proper distance from each other, not spitting in public places, working from home, grading work/business hours, Including measures like monitoring, sanitizing and disinfecting things/places from time to time. Making it clear that the decision to impose or relax restrictions should be based on the situation on the ground, the Center said that the officials of the states and union territories should ensure that the steps to contain the disease are continuously monitored and gradual restrictions/relaxation are implemented. The High Court was also informed that the Center has also shared infrastructure with the states for the implementation of quick and targeted measures.
