Bangalore: A three-storey building collapsed at Lakkasandra near the busy Wilson Garden area in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Fortunately, most of the 50 people living in the building had gone out to work. There is no news of any casualties. Fire brigade and emergency service personnel have reached the spot for the rescue operation. The laborers living there had come from Bihar and Uttar Pradesh and were working in the metro project. When the building collapsed, most of the people living in it went to work. Local BJP MLA Uday B Garudachar said the building was unauthorized and constructed in violation of rules. The police have informed that no one has been injured and no one has been killed in this incident. He said, I am going to the spot. All the workers had left for work, what would have happened if this accident had happened in the night. Locals said that the building was slightly tilted for two years, but no civic official took care of it. They ignored our complaints about the condition of the building.
