In 2014, the Rajasthan Police’s Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) and Special Task Force (SOG) arrested 13 people linked to the terrorist organization Indian Mujahideen from various cities based on information from the NIA. He said the court had sentenced him to a maximum of life imprisonment under Section 121 of the Indian Penal Code (for waging war against the Government of India, or for trying to wage such a war or engaging in such a war).
