Four diseases gradually turned into corona epidemics. A study of 5,500 scientists in 204 countries found that one million patients died of obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure and cholesterol. Most of the patients were suffering from these diseases because the coronary infection was fatal for them. Scientists warned that if a similar lifestyle were followed, any subsequent epidemics would prove fatal.
In a study published in The Lancet Medical Journal, researchers calculated deaths from disease and other causes. It also describes how serious the coronary infection was on the human race. According to him, the way the public health system failed to address the rate of acute diseases and infectious diseases in the world before Corona, which led to a steady increase in the number of people dying due to the spread of the epidemic. Richard Horton, editor-in-chief of the Lancet, said the coronavirus combined with the four diseases had become more dangerous and would further increase the burden of disease in the world.
The Global Burden of Disease Study is the most comprehensive research of its kind. In it, a team of 5,500 international scientists with the World Health Organization investigated the causes of death in 204 countries. For this, they analyzed 286 causes of death, 369 diseases and injuries and 87 risk factors.
More deaths from heart disease in the elderly
The international research team found that many deaths among young people due to back pain are happening at the same time, while heart disease continues to be the leading cause of death among the elderly.
In 2019, respiratory infections, diarrhea, malaria, meningitis and cough are the leading causes of death in children under 10 years of age.
Up to 49 years of age
Injuries, AIDS, back pain and stress related diseases have been the leading causes of death among people between the ages of 10 and 49.
Over 50 years old
Ischemic heart disease, heart stroke and diabetes are the leading causes of death among people in this age group. In ischemic disease, the blood-carrying cells in the heart contract, causing the person to die.
Bad eating is becoming fatal
Researchers have found that poor diet and lack of exercise are a major cause of death from the disease. If people could not control these two conditions, the burden of the disease would increase after coronary heart disease.
Gradually decreasing with age
The Global Burden of Disease-2017 report found that global standards for people under the age of 50 have been steadily declining since 2010. More seriously, the rate has reached a record low between the ages of zero and nine.
