The recent feats of the Water Foundation and Aamir Khan are currently overwhelmed. Beginning in September 2018, the Pani Foundation embarked on its highly ambitious journey of converting a fertile land into a forest. The project was successfully completed in September 2020, two years later.

The foundation planted 2000 saplings in collaboration with the villagers of Satara district in Maharashtra. The tree species were carefully selected to form a mixed forest-like landscape and the focus was on planting trees so that they could grow faster. The end result is unprecedented and something to be proud of because now there is a very dense forest with healthy trees, animal habitats, insects and many more.
