Corona patients living in home isolation, call the doctor, oximeter should also be delivered: Arvind Kejriwal

Arvind Kejriwal directed that those undergoing treatment in home isolation should have a doctor’s call within 24 hours.

New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal directed that those undergoing treatment in home isolation should call the doctor within 24 hours, so that their counseling can be started soon. Also, patients who do not have an oximeter, should also be provided with an oximeter immediately along with the kit. The Chief Minister said that the list of patients who do not have an oximeter, should be made that they do not have an oximeter. The next day when the district administration team goes to the kit with them, then take the oximeter along with the kit and provide the oximeter to all the patients who do not have it. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal held a review meeting at the Delhi Secretariat today with the aim of further strengthening the home isolation system. During this, the Chief Minister instructed the officials to make home isolation more effective. CM Arvind Kejriwal has been instructed to keep a clear record of the corona investigations being held in Delhi every day. It should be clear in the record that how many people are getting hospitalized and how many people are getting their treatment at home in home isolation. Apart from Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary (Health) and other senior officials including Divisional Commissioner were present in the Chief Minister’s review meeting. The officials gave the Chief Minister a detailed information about the facilities being given to the people undergoing treatment in home isolation.

Officials said that the patients undergoing treatment in home isolation are being well looked after and their health is being monitored every moment. During this time, on the instructions of CM Arvind Kejriwal, many important decisions were taken to make home isolation more effective.

CM Arvind Kejriwal instructed the officials that we need to strengthen the home isolation system so that the patients being treated at home can get good treatment with good counseling in a timely manner. The record should also indicate how many of those who are found to be corona infected need to be admitted to hospital for treatment and how many of these patients are undergoing treatment in home quarantine. The Chief Minister has instructed the officers to pay special attention to this.
