Zomato Co-Founder Resigns: Gaurav Gupta, co-founder of online food delivery company Zomato, has resigned from the company after a tenure of six years. Gupta was most recently Head of Supply at the listed company. In an email to everyone in the company, he said, “I am taking a new turn in my life and will start a new chapter in my life taking a lot from the defining chapter of last 6 years in Zomato.” “We now have a great team to take Zomato forward and it is time for me to take an alternate route in my journey. The resignation comes just days after the company decided to shut down its grocery delivery and nutraceutical business.
Gupta was the key figure in launching the company’s nutraceutical business.
