You can withdraw money using this technology on your smartphone and any UPI-enabled application like BHM, GP, Paytm, PhoneP etc.

– Now you need to authorize transactions using a UPI-enabled mobile application.

– You can withdraw your money once the transaction is approved in the application.

– The QR codes you scan at the ATM are all dynamic so they change for each transaction and cannot be copied. Every time you want to withdraw money, you need to scan a new QR code. This can be annoying but it is also the best way to secure your transaction.

NCR Corporation and NPCI are in talks to find out how and when this facility can be implemented in all ATMs in the country and they are in talks with both public and private banks. A formal engagement with all of this is expected to be announced in the next few months.

According to a spokesman for the NCR Corporation, its existing software has been upgraded to allow City Union ATMs to run the facility. However, there is no need to upgrade the hardware. All currently running ATMs can be upgraded with new software for it.
