The Center on Thursday released Rs 9,871 crore to the state governments under the sixth monthly installment of the Post Devolution Revenue Deficit (PDRD) grant. According to the ministry, the eligibility of the states to receive this grant and the quantum of grant will be decided by the commission on the basis of the difference between the assessment of revenue and expenditure of the state, taking into account the transfer scheduled for the financial year 2021-22. was decided.
