Bihar News: Former MLA Manjit Kumar Singh returned to JDU again, made the party vice-president

Bihar News: In the assembly elections held last year, former MLA Manjit Singh had entered the fray as an independent, after which the party suspended him.

Bihar News: Former MLA from Baikunthpur in Bihar Manjit Kumar Singh once again joined the ruling Janata Dal (United) in Bihar on Saturday. After joining the party, he was also made the state vice-president of the party. In the last year’s assembly elections, former MLA Manjit Singh had entered the fray as an independent, after which the party suspended him. In a program organized at the party’s state office, Manjit Singh was given membership of the party by the party’s state president Umesh Kushwaha and MP Rajiv Ranjan alias Lalan Singh. Along with Singh, many of his supporters also joined JDU. State Education Minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary, Food and Supplies Minister Lacey Singh, former minister Neeraj Kumar and many JDU leaders were present on this occasion. On this occasion, welcoming Manjit Singh to the party, Munger MP Lalan Singh said that the former MLA has a family relationship with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. He said that JDU will be strengthened by Manjit Singh’s ‘ghar wapsi’. It is noteworthy that there was talk of Singh going to the RJD.
