The Hyundai Aura interior will be very similar to the Grand i10 Nios. However, it will be seen in dark brown-beige cabin unlike the Neos. Apart from this, it will get 8.0 inch touchscreen infotainment system supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which will be positioned above the AC vent. There will be a climate control feature on the bottom.
According to cardekho.com, it will get features such as a 5.3-inch multi-information display and an analogue tachometer. Like the Grand i10 Neos, it will also get a three-spoke multi functional steering wheel. The door handle, AC vent and gear knob have also been kept the same as the Grand i10 Neos. In this, features such as wireless charging, rear AC vent, dual airbags, antilock braking system with electronic brake force distribution, rear parking camera and sensors can also be provided.
It will be upgraded to 1.2 liter petrol, 1.0 liter T-GDi petrol and 1.2 liter diesel engines on BS6 Norms. The 1.2 liter petrol engine will generate 83 PS of power and 114 Nm of torque. The 1.0-liter T-GDi petrol engine gives 100 PS of power and 172 Nm of torque. At the same time, the power of 1.2 diesel engine is 75 PS and torque is 190 Nm. The 1.2-liter petrol engine of this 5-seater car will also be available in the CNG option. There will be a 5-speed manual gearbox and AMT option with 1.2-liter petrol and diesel engines. The turbo petrol engine will only come with a manual gearbox.
Hyundai Aura will be launched in India on 21 January 2020. Considering the trend towards the car, the company has started booking it, interested customers can book it for Rs 10,000. The company has not yet disclosed its price. It is estimated that Hyundai Aura price can be kept between 6 lakh to 9 lakh rupees. In the segment, this car will be compared to Tata Tigor, Maruti Dzire, Ford Aspire and Honda Amaze.
